The big news in our nation's capital is that the new congress is planning to change the healthcare system in the United States.  This should be welcome news but it is not.  The healthcare system in the United States does in fact need a change, desperately.  But, the change needed should be aimed at improving the health of the citizens of this country and not aimed at improving profit margins of major corporations.
Many in congress simply want to undo something that was done by the 'other' political party and especially because it was done by a black president with whom they refused to work due to their hatred.  They have been waiting all of these years to undo Obamacare and now, finally they will.
Concern for the health of the people of this country is not even considered.  It is all about politics,  profits and hatred.
For the citizens of the United States things could hardly be worse.  We have the most expensive healthcare system in the entire world.  And, we have one of the worst healthcare systems of any developed nation in the world.  And the congress threatens to make it cost even more while making it less efficient and effective than it already is.  How bad it is can be seen by looking at the INFOGRAPHICS below and/or looking at the statistics.

To further prove why the American healthcare system should emulate other nation’s systems, according to a Harvard Law Study, approximately 700,000 Americans are forced into bankruptcy each year because of medical bills. Whereas in France, Germany, Britain, and Japan, those numbers are all zero.

In the end, other healthcare systems are considered better because they are universal. Everyone within those countries (including tourists) have healthcare regardless of their income. Millions of people don’t have it at all in the United States. The key difference is that foreign health insurance plans exist only to pay people’s medical bills, not to make a profit. The United States is the only developed country that lets insurance companies profit from basic health coverage.
When offered to congress, the Affordable Care Act was a lot more like the universal healthcare systems from other developed nations. However, after going through the congress it became something different.
Before Obamacare, insurance companies could deny coverage to people with pre-existing medical conditions or had a medical condition in the past simply because insurance companies didn’t want to “lose” the money on sick people. Obamacare fixed that problem.
Congress wants to remove Obamacare but doesn't have a replacement. Our health care system must be improved, but it is completely irresponsible to take away this plan and destroy the system we have without having any kind of healthcare plan for the future.
If the Affordable Care Act is repealed without a plan to replace it, the average American is in real trouble.
30 million people across the country will lose their health insurance including 4 million children. If the Medicaid program is cut, state and local governments will have no choice but to raise taxes on working families to make up the difference at the local level... if healthcare is to be provided at all... maybe not.
We in the United States have the worse system for healthcare and thanks to congress, it is about be get even worse... and that's the truth !!!
