Christianson Jr. Outside of the United States, out there in the world, most people recognize the truth...  in December 2013, Gallup surveyed 65 countries around the world, and more people in most countries said the United States was the greatest threat to peace on earth.   Ordinary people with ordinary common sense can easily relate the well known facts and draw accurate conclusions.  The United States is the biggest arms dealer in the world.  The United States maintains the largest military in the world.  The United States has the most military bases in the world, all over the world.  The truth is know all around the world. And then there is the American public... gullible, stupid... It is difficult to know what to say or how to say it.  It is probably not productive to insult the person to whom one wants to communicate because that approach would probably close that person's mind to the subject of the communication.  On the other hand, what can be said of people who fall for the same lies over and over again?  Gullible, Stupid... what else is there to say? What can be the mental state of people who tell lies to the world when everyone in the world knows that they are lying?   Is there no sense of shame?  Is that person not thoroughly embarrassed, humiliated, chagrined... to be caught in one lie and then to just routinely roll into the next lie... and everyone knows it is a lie... what kind of person is this ??? Our political leaders seem to believe that lying is a part of their job description... "don't let my constituents who elected me and placed me into office know the truth at any cost... I'll just lie and lie and lie..." It must be a sickness of some sort... the sort of sickness that is obviously shared by our political leaders... any other 'normal' human being would, at the very least, feel badly caught with such blatant lies... our political leaders, on the other hand, seem to revel in lies and they go on and lie again, covering one lie with a series of lies.  They lie again, and again, and again, and that's the truth !!! From Fox News​: Defense Secretary James Mattis said Tuesday “there is no doubt” that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime is “responsible” for gassing its own people and warned that the U.S. would respond again if Assad were to launch another chemical strike. “I have personally reviewed the intelligence and there is no doubt the Syrian regime is responsible for the decision to attack and for the attack itself,” Mattis said during an afternoon briefing at the Pentagon. Mattis, speaking alongside U.S. Central Command head Gen. Joseph Votel, provided more details about why the Trump administration ordered U.S. warships to launch 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at a Syrian air base last week. Mattis said the U.S. began “a deliberate process led by the National Security Council to recommend diplomatic and military options to the president.” “We met over several days and I spoke with some of our allies,” Mattis said. “The National Security Council considered the near century-old international prohibition against the use of chemical weapons."
